Plan your trip
A road points out where you drive through, you let yourself go and enjoy the view by going slow, trying to keep in your mind every ray of sunlight, every tree that shakes its leaves, every mountaing waving at you from afar… Spanish car routes are a true experience, and it’s not just because we say so.
We have roads that are living museums, settings for famous movies and TV shows. From Wiber we bring you a few of the most interesting roads to travel. We know for sure that getting lost on them is not going to be a worry. Care to join?
Our first car route through Spain is at one of our favorite islands (and Wiber destination): Mallorca. It’s an hour-long journey through the MA-10 that goes from Sóller to Pollença, and it will be a deep breath that you will enjoy so much that won’t mind coming back through the same road. A unique trip where you will admire the greenest spot combined with the deepest blue of its bright and captivating sea. This view sare protected by the UNESCO but you can enjoy them for free through this low-traffic, curvilinear road.
We go now to the south of Spain to discover the second most interesting car route in Spain. Because this beautiful area in our country sounds good to the ears, and has no reason to envy other places when talking about views.
Plus, the south has beautiful scenarios to go roadtriping, and one of them is Carretera de Ronda. We make it easy for you: pick your car up at Málaga’s airport, go there (just an hour and twenty minutes far) and start your adventure. From there we drive through a string of curves that will engrave in our retinas great landscapes, until we get to the city of San Pedro de Alcántara.
A drive through the A-397 about an hour long that, for driving lovers, is an adventure for its risky curves. Known for being very windy, it’s turned out to be very enticing for many driving lovers.
Let’s keep up our review of the best car routes in Spain stopping now at Altea, a town from Marina Baixa that you can go all over by car, and take pleasure with its impressive road kilometers. A town that is known by its charm and its white houses by the sea, that leave behind beautiful green landscapes with amazing riffs.
Going over Altea will be a wonderful experience for your sight, and after that you can continue your trip through the N-332 road until Villajoyosa, passing by the Natural park of Serra Gelada, a beautiful path to enjoy the Mediterranean.
We will finish our very special “Spain by car” route guide with a tour through Costa Brava, one of the best options since you can move around it like a fish in the sea. From down to up, we start at Tossà de Mar, and we will be going up through the roads GI-681 and C-31 until you get to the most wonderful destination, Begur.
An hour-long journey in which you can admire the most known seaside places of Catalonia until Begur, the best place to stop this roadtrip. A cutesy place with magnificent views that you will have to uncover slowly not to miss a thing.
No doubt in this little guide for roadtriping in Spain you found some great options to jump on a car, get away from it all and discover this passing places that won’t go unnoticed.
