Car Rental in Málaga

The price depends on the season, the type of car and the rate you choose. At Wiber Rent a Car, we always show you the final price from the start, with no hidden fees or surprises when picking up your hire car in Málaga.

With the Full/Full rate you get basic coverage with an excess, the amount of which varies depending on the car group. If you prefer a worry-free experience, the Locked Price rate offers Wiber's Top Cover, with full excess-free coverage, no deposit and priority service both at the counter and on the shuttle thanks to the Express Line. Smart Car offers the same coverage as the Locked Price rate, but with pick-up and return directly in the car park at Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport, without going through the office.

It depends on the rate you choose. With Smart Car, you pick up your vehicle directly from the Málaga Airport car park, without going through the office. With Locked Price or Full/Full, pick-up takes place at our offices located just a few minutes from the airport, which you can reach easily using our free shuttle service.

If you book with Full/Full or Locked Price, the return must be made at our Málaga office, located next to the airport. With Smart Car, you return the vehicle directly at the Málaga–Costa del Sol Airport car park. If you have booked an out-of-hours return, it must be done at Parking Khan Low Cost, as indicated in your reservation.

At our Málaga office we offer the Wikey Smart Box service, an automatic system that lets you pick up your hire car without going to the counter. This service is only available with the Locked Price rate and requires you to complete online check-in and upload your documents before arrival so that we can verify them. Once validated, you can collect your keys directly from the Smart Box and head out to enjoy the Costa del Sol without waiting.

The main driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a valid driving licence for at least one year. You only need your valid licence, an ID card or passport, and a credit or debit card in the main driver’s name.

Wiber vehicles are not allowed to leave Spanish territory under any circumstances.

The only exception is crossing into Portugal by previously purchasing the Portugal Pass extra, for a total cost of €60 per rental. This extra is only available for Locked Price and Smart Car rates, and exclusively for rentals made in Seville.
